I am 14 years old and started designing and drawing 2 years ago during lockdown. My father is from the Netherlands and my mother from Ukraine.
Through my designs and subjects I show how I see the world and the people around me. This is how my brand, Lina de Lang, was started. I am a student in Kunsthumaniora and I hope to one day end up in the fashion academy.
My most recent collection (Drifting Hope) is ready and I have dedicated it to children who are in a difficult situations. Children are always more sensitive than adults. Children are more influenced by the world. A few examples are: ecological problems, pandemics, people’s aggression towards each other. This also includes conflicts at school, child abuse, children who are lonely or even military and war conflicts. Children and teens express their concerns about these issues in different way. Art helps me with that. So I designed a new collection called Drifting Hope. The video is made to support children and make them feel confident. There are always people who can help you.
My first collection consists of 6 suits in white and red and the other in cotton, French lace and viscose.
The 2nd collection consists of 7 suits in pink, blue, white, green and even more the materials that are most common here are cotton and viscose.
